The All4Labels – Global Packaging Group is now the third largest manufacturer of adhesive labels in the world following the merger of the Baumgarten, RAKO, and X-label Groups. It offers its national and international customers a product portfolio comprising adhesive labels, folding cartons, flexible packaging, sleeves, and security technologies.

In January 2018, All4Labels Munich ordered a refurbished Gallus ECS 340 with ten flexographic printing units and a cold foil unit to expand its existing machine fleet. This new label printing press is intended to expand activities in the food sector. "We are delighted to have expanded our production capacity with a new Gallus press, especially considering the reliability of our first Gallus ECS," says Oliver Finkbeiner, Managing Director of All4Labels Munich in Mitterscheyern. "The new press is our second ECS. The first was installed in 2013 and is a reliable and extremely economical printing press that has served us well so far," explains Torsten Emmel, plant manager in Mitterscheyern. "We are confident that the new machine will give our output a further boost and help us maintain our high level of quality."

Since its market launch in 2006, the Gallus ECS 340 has been the best-selling label printing press in its class. Around 500 machines worldwide help label printers increase their productivity and save costs every day. Outstanding web transport and extremely short web runs are decisive factors in the excellent register performance of the Gallus ECS 340.

During the Gallus Innovation Days 2018, Gallus experts also explained how an additional web shifting unit makes it easy to produce multi-layer labels on this machine. This additional feature once again demonstrates the versatility and flexibility of the Gallus ECS 340 in the everyday production of any label printer.
