Gallus today announces that Italian label specialist Artes Etichette has expanded its digital printing capabilities by acquiring the first high-performance hybrid press, the Gallus Five, worldwide. Installed in December 2025, the new system is already enabling Artes to migrate a significant portion of its conventional workload over to digital, saving setup time and materials, and simplifying production.

Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (HEIDELBERG) and Gallus will present two new machine solutions for intelligent and connected label printing production at Labelexpo Europe 2025 (booth 3E23-3E29). The demand for smaller print runs and shorter turnaround times in the label industry is constantly increasing, challenging producers to achieve high levels of productivity and profitability despite complex market dynamics and declining margins.

The Gallus Group

Gallus, with production facilities in Switzerland and Germany, is a global leader in the development, production, and distribution of conventional and digital narrow-web web-fed printing presses, with a focus on label and packaging printing.
