The Italian label specialist has installed a Gallus ECS 340 with 11 printing units

In May 2017, Eurolabel installed a Gallus ECS 340 at their headquarters in Milan. With its eight flexo printing units and three screen printing units, the machine is unique in Italy and was specially configured for the Lombard label printer. On the Gallus ECS 340, lamination, inline finishing and coldfoil application is possible. Furthermore, the machine is equipped with a unit for backside printing on adhesives. This special configuration was made due to Eurolabel’s need to expand into a new market – the tube laminate business.

As it is a very weak material, tube laminate is extremely difficult to work with. Nevertheless, it is more and more used in the cosmetics and food sector and is living an immense growth at the moment – an opportunity Eurolabel did not want to miss. In order to compete in the market and stand even the toughest challenges, the Italian label printer has decided to opt for the printing quality, register precision and productivity the Gallus ECS 340 offers.

Since its launch in 2009, the Gallus ECS 340 has been the top-selling label printing machine with short web path. Over 450 machines worldwide provide daily support to Gallus customers in the label printing sector. The outstanding web feed and the shortest web path in our industry are decisive in delivering the excellent register performance of the Gallus ECS 340. This press produces complex die-cuts at maximum speed and is able to print on almost any kind of substrate: paper, PE, PP and even tube laminate. Additionally, the machine system Gallus ECS 340 convinces with a new UV flexographic printing unit with even better performance.
