ACL solution success at Asia Brewery

The Asia Brewery Inc glass plant reports increased productivity in screen preparation and production following its operation of the Gallus C-Line system for direct ACL printing on containers. According to Matthias Rosenfelder, the extended life of screens reduces the number of stops on decoration lines, while use of the Screeny printing plate has raised the level of image sharpness and brilliance, leading to additional business.

World premiere of a new machine platform for label printing at the Gallus Innovation Days 2016

The second Gallus Innovation Days event will be held from 20 to 22 September this year, again at the Gallus headquarters in St.Gallen, Switzerland, and visitors will once again be treated to a world premiere. Gallus will be presenting the first pre-series model of a new machine generation – a label printing machine that is designed for the label and packaging market.

World premiere of the “Fire” product line: Heidelberg and Gallus introduce a standardized family name for the entire digital printing portfolio: Gallus DCS 340 becomes Gallus Labelfire 340

As of drupa 2016, Heidelberg will be repeating its approach with the Speedmaster series by presenting its entire digital printing offering under a standardized family name, the “Fire” product line. With this rename, Heidelberg is increasing both the clarity of the entire offering and the recognition value of the brand for customers.

First Gallus digital printing theme day

Gallus invited customers to the first “Digital theme day” in Frankfurt am Main on 18 February. Karl-Gerhard Amerongen, Gallus Head of Digital Sales Europe, welcomed guests from the label printing sector who had come along to examine digital printing more closely and find out about further developments in this area.
